Give the Experience of a Lifetime — and Have Something to Put Under the Tree, Too

Shopping for the fly fisherman who already has everything? The PJ’s Fine Bamboo Rods Holiday Gift Box turns our six-day Bamboo Fly Rod Building Class into a memorable Christmas gift. It feels just as special to unwrap as it does to experience.

Designed specifically for gifting a class reservation, this presentation box gives your recipient something tangible to open. Furthermore, it introduces them to the unforgettable experience ahead. During their six-day class in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, they’ll work alongside Master Rodsmith PJ Dufour. Together, they will design and build their own handcrafted bamboo fly rod.

Rather than trying to choose a class date for them in advance, the recipient can select the 2027 class session that works best for their schedule. They can then register using the included gift information.

A Christmas Gift He’ll Never See Coming

This isn’t another piece of fly fishing gear destined for the closet. Instead, it’s six days immersed in the tradition and craftsmanship of bamboo rod making. In the end, it’s a finished fly rod they’ll take home, fish, and enjoy for years to come.

Each holiday gift presentation is thoughtfully designed. This makes the class reservation feel like a true Christmas gift from the moment the box is opened.
