📦 Final Payment & Shipping
The remaining balance is due prior to shipping.
Once complete, your rod or net is carefully packed and shipped—or ready for in-shop pickup if you prefer a proper handoff moment.
Craft takes time. Great craft takes a little more time. Here’s how things roll once you place a custom order with PJ’s Fine Bamboo Rods—no mysteries, no stress, just good vibes and heirloom gear in the making.
⏳ Build Timelines (aka: worth the wait)
Custom Landing Nets
Estimated build time: ~5 months from deposit
Each net is hand-shaped, finished, and (if you choose) engraved—no shortcuts, ever.
Custom Bamboo Fly Rods
Estimated build time: ~7 months from deposit
From splitting and flaming Tonkin cane to final wraps and varnish, every step is done in-house and by hand.
Translation: this isn’t fast fashion—it’s slow craft, and your future self will thank you.
A 50% deposit is required to begin any custom rod or net order.
That deposit secures your spot in the production schedule. Once you’re in, you’re in.
Design decisions do not need to be final at the time of deposit.
Colors, engraving, hardware details—we’ll dial all of that in together later.
All design details are finalized when your rod or net officially enters the build phase.
This gives you flexibility (and peace of mind) while still keeping the timeline on track.
We’ll reach out when it’s time—no need to hover like a mayfly in a drift lane.
The remaining balance is due prior to shipping.
Once complete, your rod or net is carefully packed and shipped—or ready for in-shop pickup if you prefer a proper handoff moment.
